Shriram Sonawane is founder and director of RentoMed® & Kite Medica and is responsible for overall leadership, strategy and management. Shriram has vision to create healthy and wealthy life for everyone. Shriram is our inspiration for doing little extra every day and better than yesterday.

Shriram is Pharmacy graduate from Amravati University and he acquired business administration knowledge from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (SIBM), Pune. Shriram has 18+ years of experience in healthcare industry and has successfully delivered in different progressive roles starting from sales representative to a business manager in giant multinationals of the world.

Before establishing Kite Medica & RentoMed, Shriram has worked for multinational giants in the pharma and medical devices industry, namely, Pfizer, Novartis, MSD and Johnson & Johnson- for more than 11 years. During this this period, as a sales, project coordinator, and team player, he contributed on multiple implementations, support and enhancement projects. In J&J he handled multiple projects for large customers account from private to state Government to defense to central Government. As a project head in some of the projects, he conceptualized and implemented different operational models and finance model for patients of bariatric surgery. It helped large number of patients and doctors. Shriram also designed frameworks for productivity calculations for doctors. In his current role as director of company, Shriram is taking care of marketing, business growth, growing company’s industry connect and creating good nexus for future. “The PassBox®” was his brain child to create parallel procurement system for those customers which are being misguided by some factors in the market. Its unique way of negotiation and procurement. Shriram has better understanding of Govt business and is helping many of the Govt institutions for creating innovative approach and treatment modalities for their patients. Shriram has hobby of travelling and watching comedy movies.

IIn Shriram’s own words… ” In a nutshell, I am a professional entrepreneur. In other words, I am businessman by profession. In my current role as RentoMed® Director, I focus on solving simple problems associated with complex healthcare ecosystem. Its my job to make sure that I and my company provide end-to-end solution to problems we come across. And make it understand to stakeholders. Professionally, I’m accomplishments as entrepreneur and motivational leader. Outside of work, I recharge by spiritual and social work. What I appreciate about my job is being able to pursue both my personal goals and professional passions with equal gusto-honestly. I think it makes me a better compassionate.”
